BLC Weekly, May 6
Hello Bethlehem,
Congratulations to our youth who were confirmed on Sunday! We are so proud of you. It was an honor to celebrate with you, your families, and loved ones.

THIS WEEK
Our VBS Registration is now live! All youth ages 3 years to 6th grade are invited to join us July 22-25. Our theme this year is Wholly Holy and together we will remember Jesus’ words from John 10:10b, “I came so everyone would have life, and have it fully.” We will learn about wellness and our connection to God.
This Wednesday we will have our Year-End Picnic! A hot dog/veggie dog dinner will be served at 5pm and worship with music by Joe & Missy will begin at 6:15pm. We are keeping an eye on the forecast to determine if we will gather at Spring Lake or in the lower level here at Bethlehem. Please watch for an announcement on social media by tomorrow at 5:00pm.
Join us this Sunday for an adult forum with the incredibly talented, Christine Schulz. Our organist will teach anyone interested about playing the sanctuary organ and will lead in a few songs. This is our last Adult Forum of the year, so don’t miss out!

Monthly Mission
Bethlehem’s May Monthly Mission partner is House of Hope, an organization which provides outpatient services to adults with substance abuse disorders. House of Hope has been serving the Mankato area for more than 50 years and contracts with the Blue Earth County Drug Court. The program is compatible with but not limited to AA and NA approaches. Contributions will be used for scholarships as well as start-up funding for new programs. Thank you for giving generously to those among us who struggle with substance use and mental health. You can give online or with a check.
Thank you
“Blessings on my Bethlehem family! You supported me in so many ways; visits, cards, texts, and most of all prayers! I could never thank you enough. The prayer shawl is lovely. I appreciate all of you!
God Bless, Shirley Ruby”
Thank you to our Landscaping committee for refreshing the grounds! We appreciate all you do to keep Bethlehem beautiful.
